The first ever Beauty Show by Sample Store and Beauty Keeper Taiwan at Carnivore Brazilian Churrascaria, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

It was a nice fun filled Sunday afternoon on 2nd April 2017. I was invited to attend the first ever Beauty Show by Sample Store and Beauty Keeper Taiwan at Carnivore Brazilian Churrascaria, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

Marina Bay Sands Shoppes is the home to the largest collection of luxury watch & jewellery brands, as well as luxury men’s boutiques under one roof in Singapore, with a refreshing mix of international luxury brands, emerging labels and new concepts.

Selected Bloggers are invited for a wholesome lunch at Carnivore Brazilian Churrascaria, followed by a beauty show hosted by Hossan Leong featuring the Beauty Keeper Taiwan products demo by renowned beauty and make up artiste, Candy Tiong on the Grand Finalists of SING! China Season 2 Singapore Selection. There were also exclusive products at the beauty booths from Beauty Keepers and lucky draw with fantastic prizes. Furthermore, all attendees walk away with an awesome goodie bag.

We started with a light lunch from Carnivore Brazilian Churrascaria, I especially like the roast meat and pineapple. Drinks like Just Cool, Coke and Water are also served.

The beauty show started after lunch with one of my favorite host, Hossan Leong. His Kingfisher hair was very eye catching and I like it. Hossan opened the show with a lovely Chinese song, “Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin” 月亮代表我的心  (The moon represents my heart). His jokes never fail to make me laugh, as mentioned before, I enjoy all his jokes.  

 

Thereafter, there was an introduction to the Grand Finalist of SING! China Season 2 Singapore Finalists. All handsome hunks and 2 beauties.

Some of the selected products, such as, the Destino soap, Mask kingdom mask, Userism DD cream, Starsuki make up items are demonstrated with the Finalist as models by Candy Tiong

 

After the demo, we are free to roam the beauty booth to sample the featured products.

The Destino Soap ($83) is also known as the “Tai Tai” Soap. The Royal care advance repairing face soap that contains Cistus, which is rich in antioxidant molecules that fight free radicals, helps to activate cells, repairs and restore any skin damages. Tighten pores and lifting effect, prevents sign of aging and wrinkles as well as loss of firmness and elasticity. It is designed for sensitive skin with hypoallergenic formula. 

This soap is perfect for daily use, the soft and velvety texture glides onto your skin to remove makeup, dirt, oil, and impurities from your pores, leaving you with glowing and rejuvenated skin. I have not tried it yet, but the packing is very impressive in Tiffany blue and once the box is open, the soap smell very good. I will update with review after use. 

D.D. CREAM SPF50 DYNAMIC ALL-DAILY DEFENCE( $81) This DD cream which is above CC cream is a Physical Sunscreen, Oil control, Moisturizing and ultra-long-lasting all in one makeup. I am fortunate to have tried this cream before the event.  I love the texture which is very light and non-oily, very easy and smooth to blend and I don’t feel that I am wearing any makeup but my skin glow with radiance and doesn’t feel dry. 

I am also fortunate to grab hold of some Starsuki makeup items like their lipstick which have very gorgeous shade, glides on smoothly and not drying to my lips. However, my favorite item from this range is their 

STARSUKI SUPER PERFECT REMOVER PEN 2.0 (S$ 19). It corrects Makeup in 3 seconds and its double tip design is good for various area of the face.  There’s a tiny tip of 0.3mm fine point which is good for correcting super tiny makeup flaws. It has a Transparent and refreshing texture, non-sticky, no residue, enables an immediate makeup after applying.

 

Because I use black eyelash glue and is a bit impatient, always try to adhere the lashes before the glue become sticky form, therefore, I always smudge the black glue on my eyelids, which is a very delicate and small area and very difficult to correct the error. My new found love Starsuki Super perfect remover pen does the job excellently. Very clean and remover the glue entirely, without smudging my other eye makeup like eyeshadow and eyeliner. This is indeed a STAR product. Every lady should keep one in their makeup pouch.

Just wipe it onto a piece of tissue paper 

Clean and no residue, transparent and no oil, no liquid 👍🏻

If it can remove stubborn black eyelash glue, it can remove any make up . Really love this very much 

Unfortunately, I did not win any luck draw but was glad to walk away with an awesome goodie bad with lots of Beauty Keeper Taiwan products.

Thank you Sample Store and Beauty Store Keeper Taiwan for the invite and it has been a fruitful afternoon, whereby I have pick up some useful tips of the beauty products plus skin care and beauty tips. 

The only spoiler was that I didn't manage to get the Rosy Pink sample which I would very much love to try
