JAPAN FOOD TOWN - SPRING LUNCH FAIR 

Japan Food Town Spring Lunch Fair from 8th to 21st May 2017 at Japan Food Town , Wisma Atria Level 4.  Enjoy a wide variety of authentic Japanese cuisines for only $11.80++



I went for the lunch fair at Bonta Bonta. Bonta Bonta serve a wide variety of seafood for donburi toppings. Dine in and enjoy fresh sashimi with an option of adding the Dashi soup with premium quality WARM Kinmemai Rice. 




The $11.80++ Maguro Negitoro set comes with 4 thickly cut slides of fresh Maguro and a large portion of Negitoro, which melts like butter in your mouth. 





The rice and Dashi soup are refillable upon request upon one of any of the Donburi .

The Dashi Soup is a clear stock but very flavourful. I like the temperature too, as I like hot hot soup. 

You can drink it like tea or mix it with the donburi for a different experience.  

After mixing with the rice and Negitoro. You can still taste the flavour of the soup but not overpowering, hence at the same time, you can still taste the freshness of the Negitoro. 





I personally like it better with the Dashi stock in. 

All the above mentioned only cost $11.80 ++ ! Totally worth it for an authentic Japanese Donburi experience. 

Apart from the spring lunch fair promotion. Bonta Bonta also gave many different variations. Another one of their hot favourite is their Bonta Special for $16.80++ which comes with Maguro (tuna), Ika (Squid) , Negitoro (Chopped Toro) and UNI ! Yes UNI ! Who doesn't love Uni? 




The owner mentioned that fresh seafood are delivered to his shop almost daily from Tuesday to Friday afternoon. Hence, to guarantee that you have the best cut and fresh seafood for your meal.

If you are prepared to splurge. Bonta Bonta also offered premium menu which have a whole grilled eel for $39++ etc 

Please note that the shop have only 12 - 14 seats. Although the shop is small but the seats are comfortable and spacious.  Hence, go early to avoid disappointment.
