Daniu Teochew Seafood Restaurant 大牛潮汕海鲜 is Teochew restaurant at Kampong Bahru that have the most unique traditional style of cooking 潮汕 Teochew cuisine 





At Daniu Teochew Seafood the regular usually do not lol at the menu and will will look at the Fresh Seafood Freezer to order the Freshly arrived seafood for that day.

I had the crab, wild prawns, eel & the clams each cooked in their traditional Teochew style .

Cold Crab was my favourite and here uses premium Sri Lankan Double Shell Crab . When the crab shed it’s shell, at the same time it will shed away it’s Gills, sacs, guts etc which makes the crab clean. The shell is soft , edible and has high nutritional value.  In Japan, this type of crab is regarded as the "king of crabs".


Claypot Garlic Wild Prawns sizzle in hotpot with garlic.The fragrance from the garlic, the natural sweetness of the prawns and the golden brown garlic make this dish so wonderfully flavourful



Braised Goose was so tender and need no effort chewing . Pig Trotter Jelly full of Collagen and melts in your mouth. Handmade pork and beef balls dipping the Teochew bean-paste sauce brings the flavour one notch up 











Another of my Favourite is the yam paste dessert. This is the first that I ate used lard with Scallions & Garlic oil ! Simply delicious 🤤 

Definitely will be back for more . Remember to make reservations as I went on a weekday night and it was full house
